Brexi
TripAdvisor Rating: 4.0
Address: 411 S. Monarch St., Aspen
Hours: Every day from 5:30p-10p
The atmosphere in Brexi is that of an authentic French restaurant, very high class and modern. You are greeted by warm and smiling faces and, more often than not, a table is available right away. But as skiers visiting during the peak season, it’s still a good idea to have a reservation if you plan on eating between 6 and 7:30pm. The servers are all very attentive, drinks are refilled promptly, and the orders are flawless.
Brexi offers many dishes ranging from beef to fish and traditional French favorites such as escargot. Talk to the returning customers, and you’ll know that the flavors are nothing short of amazing. The portions may be a little smaller than expected considering the price, but that’s to be expected of most fine-dining options in Aspen.
The wine list is extensive and the servers are very knowledgeable in providing suggestions to go with your meals. There are many different French wines to choose from among other options. If you are looking for a place to get a great meal after a long day skiing in Aspen, then Brexi should be the next stop on your list.
What They’re Known for: Above everything, it seems to be the amazing quality of service that keeps bringing Brexi’s clientele back again and again.
What to Watch for: As are most restaurants in the Aspen area, Brexi is a bit pricey. The food is excellent, but if you’re planning to have appetizers, entrees, dessert and drinks, expect a large bill.
