Brunelleschi’s Dome Pizza is a perfect place to help the kids wind down after a day of ski school. The environment is a hybrid between a sports bar and a pizza place. They have plenty of flat-screen TVs for the adults to watch, while the kids are planning what they’ll put on their pizza. With a large variety of custom pizzas and other Italian fare, the adults are sure to find something they’ll love too. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available for those with special dietary needs. If you’re looking for a hot pie after a cold day and your wallet is getting thin, Brunelleschi’s is an excellent choice.
What They’re Known for: Brunelleschi’s is a great place to take the kids. Small children will be offered a balloon and chef’s hat when they walk in the door. Aside from a typical kid’s menu, Brunelleschi’s offers two unique kid’s options: make your own pizza and your own pretzel. With both of these, the kids get to choose the toppings and place them on the pizza and then the pizza is cooked and brought back. Guidance is given from the wait staff, of course, but it’s a great way to let out some of that creativity and keep the kids entertained while you zone out and watch some TV.
What to Watch for: Because Brunelleschi’s is known for the experience they offer kids, it tends to be full of families. And, as most parents know, kids can be loud. If you’re looking for a quieter experience, they do offer take-out, which you can bring back to your room and eat while you watch a movie.
