Chateau Lodge Property Amenities
The indoor/outdoor pool area here is of exceptional quality, although it lacks any view of the ski resort due to the privacy wall surrounding the patio. The Chateau property is usually relatively quiet and welcoming because this is a small residence club and not a large resort hotel/lodge like the Park Hyatt or the Beaver Creek Lodge. In addition to the billiards table, Splendido Restaurant, heated swimming pool, and two property hot tubs, there is a fitness room with 10+ pieces of equipment.

Splendido – This fine dining restaurant is often named by the locals as one of the best restaurants in the Vail/Beaver Creek area. You can expect the dishes to change frequently with the seasons. The average entree here is in the mid $40 range. The wine list here is extensive (30+ pages) and consistent with what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber.
Nearby Dining Options – The Grouse Mountain Grill is located inside of the Pines Lodge – this lodge shares its driveway with the Chateau and it is one of the only places that is easily accessible by foot if you are staying at the Chateau. Beaver Creek Village can be found just downhill from here, although this can be an unpleasant walk during the winter months. The Town of Avon is about a 10 minute drive from the Chateau. Vail Village is about a 15 minute drive and this is another great place to find top-rated restaurants.

Is this a ski-in and ski-out property?
Yes, there is a trail called the Chateau Skiway that will bring skiers and snowboarders down to this property. This will also allows guests to traverse back down to the bottom of the Strawberry Park Express Chairlift.
Do I need to rent a car if I am staying at the Chateau?
This is recommended. The Vail Ski Resort and base area villages are located about 15 minutes away by car and many vacationers include Vail as part of their vacation plans here. A cab ride to Vail – although short, will still cost you about $60 + tip.
How many people can sleep in the largest vacation rentals here?
There is a 5 floor ski chalet that has 5 bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 people. The 4 bedroom vacation rentals can sleep up to 10 people. 3 bedroom units can sleep 6 people. 2 bedroom units can sleep up to 4 people.
Is there any parking onsite?
Yes, guest parking is provided in an underground parking garage.
