When you are visiting Edwards you absolutely must make time to stop in for lunch or early dinner at Eat! Drink! They offer what is probably the most expansive imported cheese menu in the area–and all the cheese can be perfectly paired with a delicious wine. The staff is very knowledgeable and able to make the best recommendations for any meal you’re having. They also offer a variety of sandwiches (especially paninis), as well as soups and salads.
Not only do they offer excellent deli sandwiches and other lunch and dinner offerings, but they also operate as a regular deli selling freshly baked bread, sliced Italian meats (sausage, salami, etc.) and delectable cheeses. You can buy wine by the glass if you are choosing to eat in-house, or they sell wine by the bottle. Either way, this one of the best places for wine and cheese, especially if you’re planning to entertain guests.
What They’re Known for: Eat! Drink! is best known for their wine and cheese offerings which include some of the best imports you will find in the area. They offer wine by the glass and by the bottle and cheese plates paired perfectly for each wine they serve.
What to Watch for: While the food and wine are excellent the service is a little below standard for what you expect in Edwards. Be prepared for slow service and don’t go if you are in a rush, though if you have the time to sit and relax the food is well worth the price even with disappointing service.
