Lark Burger

For a lot of Beaver Creek skiers staying in Edwards, the Lark Burger is an easy dinner option to keep tucked away for when you need it. And the chances are you’re going to, at least one night during your trip. There’s no breakfast menu, and it’s too far from the slopes for lunch, but it’s reasonably priced and offers delicious burgers, fries, and milkshakes without a fuss.
The service is fast, but not so fast that you’re not getting a hot, freshly cooked meal. Vegetarians have the usual salad alternatives, as well as a portabello mushroom burger. While they don’t have full bar service, they do sell beer. Or, in a choice that speaks more to the atmosphere, get the $5 milkshake.
What They’re Known for: It would be easy to say the Larkburger—the 1/3 black angus beef burger with all the standard options—but the truth is closer to their truffle burger and truffle fries. These items say everything you need to know about this place. Your basic burger joint with a few gourmet touches and upscale menu that keep it from being too bland or fast-foodie.
What to Watch for: Sitting down to eat. It’s a perfectly fine place to eat, just know that it’s the menu, not the interior, which distinguishes it from other fast-food joints. Also, the kids menu is great for the vacationing family, but not the best sign for couples. On the other hand, you can’t get a Fat Tire to go.
