The Mountain Thunder Lodge has several condominiums as well as private townhomes that may be rented-out in the winter, summer, and off-seasons. The property is located near downtown Breckenridge, CO. There is a ski trail that descends down to the Mountain Thunder Lodge that skiers and snowboarders may use to return home at the end of the day, and the gondola is only about a 3 minute walk from here.
There are one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom condominiums for rent here as well as studio-size condos. The townhomes can be rented as two-bedroom and three-bedroom vacation rentals. These townhomes are just across the street from the main Mountain Thunder Lodge in a small neighborhood.

Mountain Thunder Lodge Amenities
Guests who are staying at the Mountain Thunder will have access to many on-site property features, as well as a bowling alley, movie theater, and other amenities at the One Ski Hill Place lodge.
There is an outdoor pool that is heated and open year-round here. On the pool patio there are a few hot tubs and BBQ grills. There is also a fitness/exercise facility.

There is no restaurant on this property. Guests can easily walk into downtown Breckenridge where there is a plethora of restaurants and bars to choose from. There is also a complimentary shuttle that can take you to anywhere nearby that is beyond walking distance. Breckenridge is well known for its apres ski scene so there is no shortage of brew pubs here. Main Street in Breckenridge is also home to several seafood restaurants, foreign cuisine restaurants, and American steakhouses. Is this a ski-in and ski-out property?
No, you can ski down to the lodge at the end of the day but you must walk to the gondola in the morning. The ski trail that will bring you to this lodge is just an access trail, the main part of the ski resort is probably close to 1/2 mile away from here.
Do I need to rent a car if I am staying here?
This is not necessary. Skiing and snowboarding is easily accessible by foot and so is the Village of Breckenridge. There is a free bus that runs throughout Summit County that stops at the gondola base, and a free local shuttle courtesy of the lodge. Skier Airport Transportation is plentiful in the State of Colorado for those of you who are flying into Denver.

Meh, not many, this is typically one of the highest rated lodges by guests. You’ll have to go back to more than 5 years to find many bad reviews. It is notable that there is no air conditioning, but you will find that this is the case with 90% of the lodges in Breckenridge and the other ski resorts in Colorado.
