The Breckenridge Ski Resort is located approximately 1.5 hours away from the Denver International Airport by car (in good weather). The Eagle County Airport is located approximately the same distance away, although this drive is a few minutes shorter. Many vacationers choose not to rent a car here. Instead they arrive in Breckenridge via Breckenridge shuttle.
There are several Breck shuttle companies that transport skiers from DIA to Breckenridge on a regular basis. Denver to Breckenridge Shuttle Advice
When you fly into DIA, obviously you’ll need to get your bags–no one has ever gone skiing with a just a carry-on. But after you grab your bags, you’ll want to find the island where the shuttles will be waiting. This isn’t exactly tricky, but you can get tricked. Okay, I have been tricked. but YOU won’t be because we’re going to help you.
WEST TERMINAL. If you flew in on any of these airlines, you are going to be in the WEST terminal for bags and for your Denver to Breckenridge Shuttle: Air Canada, ATA Airlines – British Airways – Lufthansa – Mexicana – Northwest Airlines – Ted – United – United Express. Many charters also use the west side.
Exit between doors 506-510. Follow the signs for the shuttles, but you will need to get to ISLAND 2.
EAST TERMINAL. If you flew in on any of these airlines, you are going to be in the EAST terminal for bags and for your Breckenridge Airport Shuttle: AirTran – Alaska Airlines – America West Airlines – American Airlines – BigSky Airlines – Champion Air – Continental – Delta – Frontier – Frontier JetExpress – Great Lakes Airlines – Hooters Air – Horizon Air – JetBlue – Mesa Airlines – Midwest Airlines – Sun Country Airlines – US Airways.
Exit between doors 507-511. You will need to get to the second island, but just follow the signs.
