2015 Closing days for Colorado Ski Resorts
These are the updated 2015 closing days for Colorado skiing, along with some of the current lift ticket discounts we have going. This is pretty much a list of the saddest dates of the year for us–and YOU. We are sorry we have to do this to you, but the snow starts to melt and then it just doesn’t work for some reason. Alas, here they are. Get your days in before they are gone for the year.

Colorado’s Last Day of Skiing Parties
To drive home this science just a little bit, the resorts show us just how hard it is to ski on water with their end-of-the-season parties. If you aren’t familiar, every resort has a send-off bash on the mountain the last day of skiing and ALMOST every resort will have some sort of pond-skimming extravaganza. That is just how we do it in Colorado. Often, the ponds are set up at the base, but sometimes they are on other parts of the hill, such as with Telluride. We encourage you to join in on the fun, both as an attendee and participant. We have a few photos below from last year’s pond-skimming at Telluride. It is the balls.
