Located at the foot of the Eagle lift, Endo’s is a favorite après slope hangout, a good place to thaw out while enjoying drinks, burgers and other bar fare. The indoor seating offers a fireplace to take off the chill and plenty of big windows for great views of the slopes. If you opt for the outdoor seating, heaters can take the chill away and allow you to enjoy your food while taking advantage of your chance to breathe more of Colorado’s fresh air. Food is good, if not rave-worthy, and the portions are large enough to split. The game room can keep restless kids occupied if you want to finish your meal in (relative) peace.
What They’re Known for: Great burgers, good beer selection and beautiful mountain views. The Adrenaline. Other menu favorites include the nachos and the chicken corn chowder.
What to Watch for: Endo’s is a sports bar, so it can get crowded when the lifts close and noisy when excitement builds over a big game that’s displayed on one of their many televisions. The service is spotty—great sometimes, not-so-good at other times—and there have been complaints about cleanliness. The slow service can be a problem if you’re hoping to grab a quick but filling breakfast or to get a quick lunch before heading back to the slopes. That probably isn’t a problem when you’re stopping by for a drink and a bite after you’re finished skiing for the day. Prices can be a little on the high side but well within the normal range for a resort area.
