A new found favorite in Crested Butte is the Ginger Café. This place offers a wide variety of unique Thai food. Each dish has something about it that makes it just a little bit different from other Thai food you’ve likely had. Not so much Thai fusion, as Thai with a twist. It’s definitely a meal you will remember, and one that many people make sure to put on their itinerary. Their menu is reasonably priced considering the area you are in, and they also serve generous portions.
This restaurant also offers a selection of different alcoholic beverages for adult parties to enjoy as well as a kid’s menu for families, making this a great option for anyone to stop in at. The only drawback is that it can get very crowded, very quick due to the building they operate in. Between the food and the excellent attentive and cheerful service however, it is well worth the wait to eat at the Ginger Café.
What They’re Known for: Every really great restaurant has one thing that really makes them stand out. For the Ginger café, it’s their take on Asian cuisine. As a result, this has quickly become a local and tourist favorite alike in Crested Butte.
What to Watch for: The biggest downside to the growing popularity of the Ginger Café is the size of their restaurant. They operate out of a small house converted restaurant, so there is not very much indoor seating. Especially if you plan to bring along a decent-sized party, you should call for reservations.
