Pakems is one of our Colorado sisters, based out of Highlands Ranch (Denver suburb). Owned an operated by Julie Adams, who spent years as a corporate attorney until one day Julie was enjoying an apres ski cocktail and took her boots off because they were so uncomfortable. Pakems was bourne from that day, my friends, and you get to benefit from her genius and hard work.
Pakems are water-resistant, lightweight, and best of all engineered to be packable and can be taken anywhere easily. Good rubber soles for traction on the difficult and often changing terrain of the post skiing negotiation between ski rack and the car or lounge. They weigh less than a pound and can be compressed down to two inches tall.
