Gotama Ski Design Details
The 2012/2013 Gotama is designed to be a great powder ski while still functioning well as an all mountain ski. This ski is largely unchanged from the previous year’s model.
The 107 mm waist underneath of the foot gives the ski the ability to float through deep powder, yet it is still thin enough to allow skiers to switch from edge to edge faster than a pontoon powder ski.
Extended Low Profile (ELP) Rocker Design
The Gotama has an early-rise tip and tail, also known as a rocker design. This helps the ski float on powder snow without catching the tips and tails as much. The ELP rocker design also helps the Gotama’s performance as an all mountain ski.
This is a twin tip ski. It will work in the terrain park, but if you spend most of your time in the park, you might not find that this is the best ski for you. This can be a great ski for park riders to take into the backcountry or just the trees of a local ski resort.
