Snow Tubing
Keystone has a snow tubing area that is located on top of the mountain. Check back soon for pics and more details once the snow starts to fall.
Ice Skating
You may ice skate on a pond located near the keystone base area once the weather is cold enough. This is likely about a 10 minute walk for most people from the base of the mountain.
Snow Kiting
Just south of I-70 on the way to the Keystone ski resort you will pass the Dillon Reservoir. Once this is frozen it can become a popular place for snow kiting. The wind is usually blowing inward towards Dillon (west to east), so most of the kite skiers will gather on the opposite side of the reservoir. To get there, just get off the next exit on I-70 for Frisco. From there, just drive towards Breckenridge and you will wind up driving along the western side of the Dillon Reservoir.
