Opening Days for Colorado Ski Resorts 2014-15
Here are the opening dates for Colorado skiing, along with the current season pass prices at each resort. All season passes are more expensive during the season than in preseason. Vail had the most expensive 1-day lift ticket window rate at $139 last season, so if you are looking to understand how much you need to ski to make a season pass worth it, just use this formula: Season Pass/# of probable days skiing – window rate at resort. If you have a negative number, you should buy a season pass. However, if you are a planner, and ski a few days in a row each time you ski, then take about 15% off the current window rate, since you can get savings from buying multi-day passes and buying in advance.
