Steamboat Smokehouse is a delicious compilation of finger-licking BBQ, great drinks, and good times. The restaurant proudly boasts a family-friendly atmosphere where everyone from 1 to 101 is invited to come eat and dine here. All of the food is slow cooked over the best oak and hickory wood available. You get traditional, wood-infused BBQ meats and not meat from an oven or stove. Steamboat Smokehouse says they slow-cook each piece of meat for anywhere between 12 to 15 hours.
What They’re Known for: One of the best things about Steamboat Smokehouse is the wide range of choices in BBQ available on their menu. From perfectly fried cheese curds to fall off the bone ribs and sliced smoked brisket, you will find there is an option for any palette. The BBQ here is rubbed with a variety of different seasonings to marry tangy and sweet together. The kids have a great selection of food too with four different entrées to choose from and a variety of sides to accompany the dish.
What to Watch for: Steamboat Smokehouse is a casual, friendly, family environment where you can come in and relax over some delicious ribs or pulled pork. You will meet many of the friendly locals and the staff is as nice and accommodating as can be. But think of the atmosphere this way, too: If you really want to cut loose with your friends and tell dirty jokes at a loud volume, take advantage of the restaurant’s delivery or take-out service. Finally, the restaurant also offers catering services so you can enjoy your big party while they bring the phenomenal food.
