Telluride Skiing and Snowboarding for Kids
Telluride has a large variety of ski programs for children of all ages. There is also a full daycare center for children that are too young to ski.
The ski school and children’s daycare center are located below the Mountain Village gondola station; at the bottom of the stairs in the photo that you see to the right.
Ski School Programs for Kids
Ski lessons are offered for children ages 3-14. Children are put into the following groups according to their age; 3-4 yrs, 5-6 yrs, and 7-14 yrs.
Snowboard lessons are available to riders between the ages of 7 and 14.
Children’s Nursery
Telluride runs a state certified nursery for infants and toddlers that are between 2 months and 3 years of age. Rates start at $35 for 1 hour during the regular season and go up to $125 for a full day. You can call 970-728-7531 for more information.
Above; you can see the magic carpet lift that is located right outside of the ski school. Below; you can see another one of the carpet lifts that is located in the Mountain Village. This area can be found at the top of the Meadows ski trail just below the bridge that skiers and riders will go under.
