The longest leg of the free gondola is the portion between Telluride’s Mountain Village and downtown Telluride. This gondola leg runs over the top of the mountain through St. Sophia Station and the ride takes about 13 minutes. This is shorter than the drive to the Town of Mountain Village which takes approximately 20 minutes.

There is also a free gondola that transports skiers from the Station Village parking garage to the Mountain Village base area. This gondola ride is less than 2 minutes long and will bring skiers and riders right to the base of the mountain and the heart of the Town of Mountain Village.
