Lodge at Vail & Rock Resort Ski Vacations
This ski lodge is located within a short walking distance from the Vista Bahn ski lift. There is an entrance that leads directly into the Vail Village pedestrian mall where guests can enjoy fine dining, apres ski, and shopping.
This hotel has an outdoor pool and several hot tubs. Elway’s Steakhouse is also located inside of the Lodge at Vail (Coming Fall 2011). The close location to Vail Mountain and Vail Village make this an ideal place to stay during your ski vacation.
Lodge at Vail Guest Accommodations
The Lodge at Vail has more than 10 different types of guest rooms and hotel suites. All of the accommodations at this ski lodge provide guests with wireless internet access and use of all of the property amenities.
All of the hotel suites have private outdoor balconies and wood-burning fireplaces. Many balconies overlook the heated outdoor pool terrace. Some guest rooms have mountain views and some have views of Gore Creek Drive. Accommodations include lodge and studio rooms, one to three bedroom condominium suites, the penthouse and Game Creek Chalet (Located on top of Vail Mountain). Lodge at Vail Guest Amenities
This ski lodge has an outdoor pool and terrace area. Here you will find 4 hot tubs, an adult swimming pool, and a 1-foot deep kiddie pool. There is a piano bar and two restaurants on this property. Guests may also use the fitness room, exercise/movement room, health spa, business center and meeting facilities.

Health Spa, Swimming Pools, Fitness Center
The Lodge at Vail has 4 small outdoor hot tubs that are located by the pool. There is a 9-foot deep outdoor pool that is heated and open year round. This is also a 1-foot deep kiddie pool located next to the adults pool. The entire pool area sits in an outdoor courtyard surrounded by the guest rooms at the lodge and Elway’s Restaurant (Coming Fall 2011).
Pool hours are 8 am to 10 pm.
The health spa, fitness center, and activity/movement room are all located in the same area on the ground level of the hotel. The fitness center can be found just above the spa and activity rooms. The fitness room here has free weights, cardio machines, and about 20 pieces of strength training equipment.
There is a Yoga/Pilates/movement studio just outside of the health spa doors. This room has wooden floors and large floor-to-ceiling mirrors on the wall. Guests may use equipment like floormats and exercise bands that are kept in this area.
Business and Meeting Facilities
The International Ballroom measures almost 5,500 square feet and can hold as many as 500 guests in a reception setup. This ballroom can hold approx. 350 guests in a banquet arrangement. The International Ballroom can be divided into 3 separate areas to fit your conference needs. There is also a 12-person boardroom that is available for meetings. Parts of the Cucina Rustica Restaurant can be rented out for private group events.
The business center is located on the ground floor of the lodge. There are 3 computers here with internet access and printing capabilities. There is also a television on the wall, current newspapers, multi-line telephones, and small office supplies like pens, notepads, scissors, highlighters etc.

Food, Dining, Apres Ski
Elway’s – This steakhouse (Open fall 2011) is owned by former Denver Broncos Quarterback John Elway. This high-end steakhouse serves various traditional cuts of meat; cooked to perfection. Decor and price are close to fine dining level, food is generally what you might expect at an expensive steakhouse. A section of this restaurant overlooks the outdoor pool and hot tub area.
Cucina Rustica – Cucina Rustica has 2 separate dining areas and a small private dining area. This restaurant serves a breakfast buffet and dinner service. There is also an outdoor patio area that is adjacent to John Elway’s steakhouse.
Mickey’s Bar – This Piano bar is located inside of The Lodge at Vail. Just head through the lobby area and you will see this bar straight ahead.
