Solaris Restaurants and Bars

Matsuhisa Vail – This Japanese restaurant is owned by world-renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Matsuhisa is located inside of the Solaris building on the main level, and this is surely the best sushi restaurant in Vail. Diners can enjoy wonderful views of the mountain and village through the floor to ceiling windows. Most of the Sushi and Sashimi dishes are about $10. Entrees are generally in the $30 – $40 range. Don’t be shy, try some of the Japanese specialty dishes that have helped to make Nobu a world famous chef.

Bol – Located in the plaza outside of the building; this unique bowling alley and lounge is open during the evening serving appetizers, entrees, and specialty cocktails. The kitchen will stay open until 11pm and the bar and bowling alley will be open a bit later.

Cinebistro – This venue is even more unique than Bol. This movie theater serves a full dinner menu to guests while they watch a movie. The theater is equipped with a state of the art sound system. Cinebistro is located in the Solaris Plaza amongst the storefronts that surround the ice rink.

Nearby Conference & Meeting Facilities

Here are some of the nearby conference centers that are best equipped to host a large group event or corporate meeting.

Vail Cascade – The largest conference center in the Vail Valley – this resort has its own chairlift and the most extensive fitness facility in the Vail; including an indoor basketball court, indoor tennis courts, mini running track, and a long list of different workout facilities.

Vail Marriot (Lionshead) – This is a great meeting and conference facility in Lionshead Village. This big advantage of this hotel over the Vail Cascade is that it is located in close proximity to the ski mountain and right in the base area village. This is likely one of the top 3 most popular conference venues in the Vail Valley.

Sebastien Hotel – Located on the edge of Vail Village; this hotel can accommodate large group functions with as many as 350 people at a time. Guests have quick access to Vail Village and the in-town shuttle.
