Los Amigos is a local favorite for Mexican cuisine and margaritas. They feature traditional Mexican fare made with high quality ingredients. Portions are large and the food inexpensive for the area, making it a perfect choice for a family meal or a relaxing evening. Los Amigos is situated at the bottom of the slopes and guests can watch skiers or revel in the beautiful view. Because of the location, many guests ski in after a long day.
Despite the Mexican theme, the fare tends to be a real crowd-pleaser even for larger groups. There’s an American cuisine section of the menu, along with several options for those with dietary restrictions, including gluten-free and vegetarian dishes.
What They’re Known for: Los Amigos is known for their food, alcohol and location. The chips, fajitas and chili carne are all very highly rated, so be sure to try them if you stop in. They make a mean margarita, which many guests say are among the best they’ve ever had. Since you can ski in after going down the slopes, the location can’t be beat.
What to Watch for: The combination of families, energetic skiers and alcohol mean that Los Amigos is often pretty loud. Ask for a table on the patio and your visit should be much quieter.
