Address: 228 Bridge St., Suite 200, Vail
Hours: Russell’s Restaurant is open every day from 5:30p-10p.
If you are looking for an amazing steakhouse with a beautiful view and a rather long wine list to choose from, then you should stop by Russell’s Restaurant. The steaks are always cooked to perfection, no matter how you enjoy it. The crab legs are to die for, large in portion and cooked like the delicacy it is. You will be dropping a pretty penny on a single meal, but the portions and quality of the food are a wonderful value for the price.
Depending on the time of year you visit Vail, you may want to consider calling ahead to make reservations—especially if you have a preference such as sitting near a window. We heard that the wait staff seems to have their off days, but more often than not the service is exemplary. Overall, if you are looking for a quick meal at lunch, this may not be the optimal spot. On the other hand if you are looking for the best Alaskan King Crab in Vail, this would be the place to be after a long day.
What They’re Known for: The first reason most people suggest going to Russell’s is the King Crab Legs. Many customers have claimed them to be the most delicious and tender crab they ever tasted.
What to Watch for: Again, the service isn’t terrible, but at these prices, a lot of people expect flawless, attentive service. If it’s busy or understaffed, look to get most of your money’s worth from the quality of the food.
