Vail Transportation Center
The Vail Transportation Center (VTC) gives skiers and snowboarders an access hub between all of the local bus routes and the ski mountain. All of the free local routes will go through the transportation center except for the in-town shuttle. This bus route will pass just in front of the VTC on the side that is closest to the mountain. The transportation center is also a central area for some of the local taxi transportation services.
The Vail Transportation Center is located above the Vail Village parking garage. You can walk to the ski slopes in about 5 minutes from this area.
Free Vail Bus Routes
You can see a list of the free bus routes that run throughout the Vail Valley below. All local shuttle buses are free. Bus service will begin at 6 a.m. in the winter and run until 2 a.m. Early/late winter hours, as well as summer operation hours will vary from this schedule.
