Goody’s Mountain Creperie in-house bakery ensures additive-free food that is fresh and hot every time. With a selection of both sweet and savory crepes, as well as more common breakfast fare, a lot of people describe this place as comfort food. It’s not unlike a greasy spoon, but without the extra grease. The menu is easy to ready but involves several different culinary disciplines. Along with the cooks and chefs, Goody’s boasts of its bakers, baristas, and bartenders.
This place does breakfast like nobody else, but there’s also a decent selection of sandwiches and salads for members of your party who don’t like the idea of eggs and crepes after the sun goes down. There’s also beer and wine to go along with the breakfast-oriented specialty cocktails.
What They’re Known for: Along with crepes, this place is known for all-day breakfast. If you’re like a lot of skiers, you want something quick and easy in the morning, so you can start shredding as soon as possible. But this doesn’t mean you’re not a fan of breakfast food. At the end of a full day on the slopes, few things may sound as good as a breakfast spread and specialty cocktail.
What to Watch for: Service times. It’s not that the service is bad or even that slow, but some skiers like to think they can have a sit-down breakfast and still get to the slopes quickly. Even though this place is at the Winter Park Resort, it’s important to manage this expectation. Plus, since this place doesn’t open till 8a, there’s less bonus for being the early worm.
