If you’re a fan of fish tacos then you really won’t want to miss out on eating at Pepe Osaka’s Fishtaco Tequila Bar and Grill. The restaurant may not look like much from the outside, as it is part of a strip mall, but on the inside you’re welcomed to a unique atmosphere in a small, cozy little restaurant. There are only about 10-15 tables. Definitely a small place, so during the busiest times of the season, and especially on weekends, you may want to call for a reservation. Pretty much the entire menu is based on different types of fish tacos. They are a reasonable price per taco and a decent sized taco, making prices fair overall, especially considering the area.
What They’re Known for: If you are looking for a really delicious and authentic fish taco while you are staying in Colorado, then Pepe Osaka’s Fishtaco is probably the best place around.
What to Watch for: If you’re looking for fine dining or a family experience on the other hand, this would not be the place you want to go. For kids especially, the menu can be very limiting. On the other hand, the bar menu, intimate dining space, and easy-to-eat food make this place a great option for an affordable date night.
