When you’re looking for a truly unique experience, you cannot skip Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro. Not only is their location unique (on Aspen Mountain in a little cabin, definitely a place you will remember), but they also serve some of the most creative meals around. They offer a rotating menu that changes daily so you cannot exactly plan ahead for what you would like to eat, but that is part of the experience. They have had many different dishes including fondue and schnitzel and more.

Along with their unique and ever changing menu, Cloud Nine offers a long list of wines, beers and creative cocktails that you’re also likely to remember for a long time. The prices here are definitely on the higher end of Aspen dining, but it is well worth the price for the delicious food and extensive drink list. Also, they are a bit of a “rowdy” crowd. You’re likely to see champagne pouring and people dancing and simply having a great time.

What They’re Known for: Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro is known and remembered as the restaurant in the cabin on the top of the mountain for most–definitely a touristy hot-spot in Aspen with excellent dining and good service.

What to Watch for: Though you expect it to be expensive in Aspen, you may want to double check with your wallet first. This is definitely one of the more expensive restaurant options in the area but it is an experience worth having.
